The primary target of cyber attacks is almost always financial organizations. However governments and regulatory bodies try to tackle them by developing and enforcing regulations and laws. In the European Union a sharp rise in these attacks was seen after the Russio-Ukraine war and the importance of these regulations has increased a thousandfold ever since.This course by Digital Partners explores one such Regulation the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The Regulation has been imposed across the EU and requires financial entities to take measures to stay protected from cyber threats. The course comprises five topics each exploring a different aspect of the Regulation. The first topic explores the reasons why financial frauds happen in the cyber landscape and the role of cyber resilience in preventing them.The second and third topics explain the DORA's framework and pillars. In this regard they explain the requirements of the Regulation i.e. ICT risk management incident reporting digital operational resilience testing third-party risk management and information-sharing arrangements.
